Meet The Team
Ron Lundy
Ron served over 20 years active duty in the U.S. Navy (Submarines) as a personnel officer on board several Submarines and various shore duty billets. He assisted active duty personnel with their pay, all aspects of their personnel records and with personal issues for his entire career on active duty. Ron has a Bachelor’s Degree from Troy University graduating with honors, Summa Cum Laude.
After retiring from the U.S. Navy, he continued serving Veterans as a Veterans Service Officer (VSO) for over 15,000 Veterans in the Midwest. Assisting Veterans and their families with VA Benefits including enrollment in the VA Healthcare System, applying for VA Service-Connected Disabilities and VA Pensions with Aid and Attendance, VA Home Loans, VA Life Insurance, Burial and Memorial Benefits, Survivor/Dependent Benefits, VA Educational Benefits, filing for Appeals, receiving Medals earned and corrections to their DD 214s and with State and County Benefits.
The Department of Veterans Affairs hired him as a Veteran Service Representative (VSR) to process VA Disability and Pension claims in Winston/Salem Regional Office. After graduating with honors from the VA academy, he transferred to Indianapolis Regional Office where he worked in Public Contact assisting Veterans and their families with VA Service-Connected Disability and VA Pension claims and many other VA programs. He also gave many outreach presentations on VA benefits to large groups of Veterans and their families throughout the State of Indiana. The Indianapolis VA appointed him as the POW/MIA Coordinator for the State of Indiana and he was fortunate enough to be able to go into the homes of former POWs and MIA families to ensure they were maximizing the VA benefits these Hero’s earned and deserved. Ron was then transferred to the Columbia Regional Office where he became a Field Examiner.
During this time, he met with Veterans and their families in their homes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes to appoint a Fiduciary and ensure that their Fiduciary was taking care of them and they were receiving all of the VA benefits they deserved.
It is an honor and privilege to help Veterans and their families who have made so many sacrifices for this great Country. Having recently retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs, he will continue helping Veterans with their VA benefits. He will help them maximize their benefits and simplify the process for them.
